Compact Super UWB Elliptical Antenna with Corrugations for Wireless Communication Systems

Compact super ultra-wideband (UWB) elliptical antenna with corrugations is presented in this paper. The working super UWB is achieved by using corrugations structure on the border of the radiating patch and notching and by trucking the ground plane. The antenna is printed on the FR4-Epoxy substrate with overall dimensions of 29.5×32×1.5 mm

. The antenna operates in the band 3.32 to upper than 20 GHz. In addition, the simulated results indicate that the antenna exhibits stable radiation patterns, acceptable gain and a good efficiency performance.
