Integration of Rotary Sheet Cutting Machines into Production Management Information System

Research and analysis from methods and technologies of information exchange between structural elements of the printing production management information system are carried out and the basic stages of rotary sheet cutting machine integration in the printing production management information system flows are determined. The functional scheme of the printing production management information system with the integrated rotary sheet cutting machine into it is constructed. A method for exchanging JMF work messages between a printing production management information system and a rotary sheet cutting machine and the format of their presentation are proposed. An EDS format rotary sheet cutting machine description file has been created that provides access to all information about cutting process variables and machine setup parameters and provides communication between individual devices in the production management information system network. Algorithms and corresponding software have been developed for integrating rotary sheet cutting machines into the information system for managing production polygraph flows, which makes it possible to automate the receipt of order fulfillment information, to provide remote control of the rotary sheet cutting machines and their automatic adjustment to the required format. Based on theoretical and practical experience, a module for the interaction of the rotary sheet cutting machine with the network of the printing production management information system was created. Additional software was developed, based on which the integration module work of the rotary sheet cutting machine into the production management information system was tested.
