A Novel Quadratic High Step-up DC-DC converter

A new quadratic DC-DC converter is introduced in this article. The introduced converter provides some profits namely high voltage gain, simple control system and high efficiency. The introduced converter has high voltage gain. Whereas, no transformers or no coupled inductors are used in the introduced converter. Further, the proposed converter benefits from low voltage stress across switches. Therefore, the switches with lower voltage level can be used in the proposed converter. This causes decreasing the switch conduction losses. Moreover, the input current is continuous as well as its ripple is low, so the introduced converter is appropriate for using in applications of renewable energy. The theoretical analysis of the introduced converter is elaborated. Finally, the simulation results is presented to validate the advantages of the converter.
