Comparative Analysis of Symmetrical and the Asymmetrical Golden ratio U Slot Microstrip Patch Antenna

A single patch, multi U Slot Symmetrical, and Asymmetrical Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA) have been designed with the introduction of the Universal Golden Ratio rule. It has been observed that the result of Asymmetrical MPA provides a gain of 2.7 dB having -28 dB Return Loss. While Symmetrical Microstrip Patch Antenna provides a gain of 2.9 dB having -16 dB Return loss. The proposed antenna has been designed to resonate at C Band of SHF Spectrum (5.8 GHz) which is useful for WLAN, RFID, and Satellite Communication.
