Frequency Estimation of Signals by ESPRIT Method using SSA- based Preprocessing

In the paper the problem of performance improvement of frequency estimation of signals by ESPRIT method using SSA approach is considered. The modification of the SSA method and ESPRIT method for real-valued signal model are presented. The proposed SSA modification is based on the using of results of G-analysis (random matrix theory). Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
