1. Introduction
One of the advantages of current database systems is that a user can access data at any time and at any location. It is usually expected that such characteristics will be used for e-commerce. Under such an assumption a consumer can get all price information, and thus price variance of goods across sellers will be reduced. Because of severe competition, only a few sellers will remain. It is pointed out by Yaholom and Madnick [Yah99] that sellers will try to make comparison shopping more difficult by using techniques like introducing user interface which cannot be integrated with other systems, bundling products to more complex packages, etc.
