A novel method for fast analysis of electromagnetic scattering characteristics of PEC objects

MoM is used in electromagnetic field numerical calculation widely. But due to the Green's function, for electrically large object, eventually form dense matrix of full rank. It is very complicated to solve its inverse matrix. The calculation is large and prone to errors. In this paper, a novel method is utilized to analyze the electromagnetic scattering of the electrically large object. The discrete wavelet transformation (DWT) matrix make the classical MoM equation sparse and reduced computational complexity. In order to further speed up the filling time of the impedance matrix elements,we creatively present the novel method. Not only achieves high-efficiency filling, but also avoids the singularity problem of impedance element calculation. Numerical results of scattering problems are presented while a comparison is made with the results obtained from traditional results. Excellent results are obtained illustrating the effectiveness and high efficiency of the proposed technique.
