A Review On Psychophysiological monitoring for depression detection with therapeutic cure using AI enabled smart devices

The traditional ways of depression detection have proven to be less effective and accessible by the recent researches conducted. Thereby this paper highlights the advanced depression detection procedures. They involve both hardware and software methods. In Hardware methods, the data gathered by the devices is processed and then transmitted to the internet for enabling web applications. Software methods implement various techniques such as text and speech detection from the user's linguistic and acoustic signals to identify depression. Therapeutic approaches involve classification of the depressed patient using different scales and then making use of appropriate therapy method to cure it. The different methods have displayed effective improvements and thereby making them worthwhile to be applied on larger target audience.
