Simulation and Performance Analysis of Tactical Battlefield Communication Network

Battlefield communication network is the key factor to decide the outcome of war. With digital forces as the research background, the tactical battlefield communication network as the research object, based on discrete event driven mechanism, this paper builds up a simulation scenario of battlefield communication network using the hierarchical modeling mechanism, battlefield communication network simulation of the cable network, military radio network, satellite network and other means of communication components, studies the effect of different constraint conditions in battlefield communication by applying interference simulation data by modifying the device parameters and node. Experimental results show that the discrete event driven mechanism and layered modeling mechanism are effective methods to achieve network simulation, with high efficiency and reliable results. It can provide a good supporting role for the construction of battlefield communication network.
