Study of the Prediction of Different Particle Material on Conveying Capacity of Differential Vertical Screw Conveyor Using Similarity Theory

Differential vertical screw conveyor is a new type of vertical screw conveyor. Use similarity theory to predict the conveying capacity of different particle material of differential vertical screw conveyor. First, using the similarity theory to establish the similarity index of a differential vertical screw conveyor and the similarity criteria is derived. Then measure the conveying capacity of millet and Thailand sago on the differential vertical screw conveyor test platform. At last, calculate the theoretical conveying capacity of Thailand sago through similarity theory according the conveying capacity data of millet. And construct analytic method for the conveying capacity of differential vertical screw conveyor. The result shows that the similarity theory banding correction coefficient is a good analysis method of the conveying capacity of differential vertical screw conveyor.
