Hardware-fingerprint Based Authentication for NFC Devices in Power Grids

With the popularization of power grids, the security of power Internet of Things has received extensive attention. This paper proposes a fingerprint authentication method for grid NFC devices based on hardware intrinsic differences, including analog signal acquisition, data preprocessing, feature extraction, model establishment, an attacker device detection when the NFC device exchanges information. By classifying the analog signals when the NFC device exchanges information, the hardware intrinsic difference is selected as the basis for judging the access of the equipment, and the NFC device database is obtained through model training, and the NFC device is authenticated one-to-one to determine the access. Therefore, it is determined whether the access device is abnormal. The scheme is an application of the analog state security mechanism in the field of object network identification. The inherent complex mechanism of the analog state makes the hardware intrinsic information difficult to counterfeit, which has high security, and effectively solves the device identification problem of the Internet of Things NFC devices.
