Indoor positioning research based on wireless sensor network topology optimization

In order to improve indoor location accuracy and solve the problem of large location error without additional deployment cost, this paper proposes a sensor deployment method based on wireless sensor network topology optimization. Firstly, based on the coverage model of sensors and the principle of indoor location algorithm, the concept of effective coverage rate is proposed. It is pointed out that the accuracy of indoor location is related to the effective coverage rate of wireless sensor network topology, and a beacon node deployment model of wireless sensor network topology structure is proposed. Then, the optimization model of wireless sensor network topology structure is constructed, and the model is solved by using NSGA-II algorithm. In the simulation experiment, the effective coverage of the optimized deployment scheme is higher than that of the uniform deployment scheme. The indoor location error of the optimized deployment scheme is 1.3 meters without filtering and fusing other location signals. Under the same experimental conditions, the indoor location accuracy of the optimized deployment scheme is 28.96% higher than that of the uniform deployment scheme.
