Research on Thin-membrane Deployable Antenna

Thin-membrane deployable antenna is potentially suitable for the applications of large-aperture light-weight deployable phased array antenna due to its advantages of low-mass, deployment and small stowage volume. Thin-membrane deployable antenna will be widely applied in satellite or spacecraft. In this paper, the thin-membrane deployable antenna was designed, fabricated and tested. The results show a good agreement between measurement and simulation, along with an excellent performance.
