Power Divider with Sequential Phase for X-Band Array Antenna Feeding Network Application

This paper discusses the development of power divider with sequential phase for X-band array antenna feeding network application. The proposed power divider is designed to work at the frequency range of 8GHz-12GHz with the center frequency of 9GHz. The power divider is deployed using an FR4 Epoxy dielectric substrate with the thickness of 1.6 mm. The power divider is configured by 5 ports and designed to have a sequential phase for consecutive port. The size of the substrate and size on the ground plane is 47.5 mm × 67 mm. Some parametric studies upon the physical dimension such as feeding line length are performed in which its performances are analyzed through the phase produced on each port.
