Breakdown features in functional devices of telecommunication systems

Functional elements operation study revealed that the failure cause of the telecommunication devices is a degradation of conductive buses and contact pads. Experimental and theoretical studies of breakdown processes that are leading to integrated circuit's destruction under electromagnetic radiation influence are presented.
