Out-of-Plane Buckling Analysis of Cable-Beam Structure using Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation

In this paper, the out-of-plane buckling analysis of cable-beam structure is studied using the Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation (ANCF). The presented numerical technique utilizes two ANCF elements i.e. the three dimensional cable element and the three dimensional higher order beam element. The results obtained from the presented approach are compared with the analytical results and were found to be in good agreement.
