Sub-lens System based on Dispersion Phenomenon of LED Integral Imaging

It is usual problem that the chromatic dispersion and crosstalk in the LED integral imaging naked-eye stereo display because one pixel in the color LED display is composed of three primary colors. By analyzing the luminescent property of LED and the spatial distribution functions, a sub-lens system to solve the problem of light divergence in optical reconstruction is proposed in this paper. The element image(EI) is improved at the sub-pixel level according to the pixel relationship between adjacent micro-lenses of LED integral imaging. The sub-lens design and the corresponding sub-pixel rearrangement theory are proposed, and the mapping relationship from the conventional pixel arrangement to the sub-pixel arrangement is calculated. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively solve the dispersion, reduce the crosstalk between pixels, and improve the display quality of the reconstructed light field.
