Mathematical Modeling of Photonic Crystal Resonators Based on the Lasing Eigenvalue Problem

Microdisk lasers with circular shapes and periodic sets of piercing holes are the main object of this paper. A new algorithm for computation of spectra and thresholds of their lasing modes is proposed and illustrated by numerical examples.
