Experimental Research of an Array of Gyroscopic Sensors in Static Mode

Unmanned vehicles, whether water or aerial, are increasingly popular, which necessitates R&D in 3D positioning data processing. Effective control of moving objects requires as accurate navigational parametrizing as possible; that accuracy depends on the quality of positioning sensors based on microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS) and selected positioning signal processing algorithms. To address technological errorsand sensitivity Before MEMS could be used, they have to be calibrated. To that end, MEMS have to be researched in static operation. Such analysis will mainly cover the offset of zero angular velocity, the sensor error for given measurements, and the nonlinearity of the instrument transfer function. Another aspect focused upon is how the environment affects temperatures, magnetic field parameters, voltage stability, etc. Analysis of these results helps study MEMS dynamically later on. The collected instrumentation data help improve measurement accuracy and positioning data quality.
