Measurements and Stabilization of the Radio Signals Time Delay When Their Transmitting Over Long Wideband Analog Fiber Optics Links

The results of measurements of the time delay in analog wideband fiber-optic links for microwave signal transmission are presented. Fiber-optic links operates in frequency range 0.1...18 GHz. The delay is determined by the results of measurements of the fiber-optic link phase-frequency response performed by using a vector network analyzer with a large number of points in the measuring trace. The length of the fiber-optic link in the experiments extends up to 1000 meters. The results of experiments on stabilizing the microwave signal delay at the fiber-optic link output using a fiber stretcher with piezoelectric control inserted in the link are also considered.
