Fast Gate Synchronized Subharmonic Modulation in Stimulated Emission Microscopy

In this paper, an alternative modulation technique working at much higher frequency (38 MHz) is demonstrated for stimulated emission microscopy. In this way, shot noise limited sensitivity and high speed imaging can be achieved.
