Modern Aspects of Alternative Energy in Ukraine

The article analyses the modern conditions of renewable energy and the prospects for its further development. The preconditions for stimulating the energy transition and the potential of using the renewable energy sources in terms of regions are investigated. Leading countries experience in the field of alternative energy is considered. The prospective regions of Ukraine which could use one of the main renewable energy sources as a factor for overall energy efficiency improvement of the country are determined. Future directions of the state policy development in the field of alternative energy stimulation under modern conditions are offered. There are the following research methods are used: induction method, systems thinking, dialectical method, statistical methods.
