Induction Motors Condition Monitoring and Lifetime Estimation System

The aim of this paper is to study methods for induction motor diagnosis and reliability analysis. Remaining lifetime definition is an important problem that needs to be solved. Effective diagnosis allows preventing serious damages, unplanned operation stoppage and significantly reduce operational expenses. Methods and equations that have been revised in the article describe reliability of induction motor parts with highest breakings rate. Automotive system that analyzes incoming sensors data may seriously simplify reliability evaluation process. Fuzzy logic system with a certain number of rules for these induction motor parameters is an effective solution.
