Corrosion-Related Magnetostatic Field Analysis

A surface integral equation method for computing the corrosion-related magnetostatic field is presented. An integral equation is solved for the corrosion-related electrostatic field in a homogeneous electrolyte from which the corrosion-related magnetostatic field is determined. The surface integral equation is discretized using the locally-corrected Nyström method. The field analysis is validated through comparison to analytical and published results.
