Acoustic Wave Scattering by Coplanar System of Flat Pre Fractal Impedance Strips Gratings

The singular integral equation technique and local coordinate system method are used for mathematical modelling of acoustic waves' scattering by multi level coplanar system of flat pre-fractal impedance strip gratings. Main attention is focussed on some types of one-dimensional self similar fractals with variable fractal dimension. It is important to have huge sets of pre-fractals for usage in construction of flat pre-fractal impedance strip gratings. The simplest two level coplanar system of pre-fractal grating is studied in detail. In particular, asymptotic model of the acoustic wave scattering by such weakly filled system, which has explicit solution, is presented.
