Strong-field THz nonlinearity on gold nanofilms

Terahertz electric field induced nonlinearity on gold nanofilms with different thicknesses are systematically investigated. With increasing the applied terahertz electric field strength, we find that the terahertz transmittance first increases linearly and then saturates, resulting in a field dependent nonlinear behavior.
