A Hydrodynamical Study on Motions and Mooring Loads of The Small Scale LNG Carrier

This paper investigates the hydrodynamics of the mooring system of the fixed LNG offshore receiving station. The mooring system is designed for small LNGC acceptance and unloading operations and is designed for Marine environmental work close to Tangshan port in Chinese Bohai sea. Firstly, the frequency domain response analysis of LNGC is carried out, and the time domain response analysis of the mooring system under the combined action of wind, wave and current is carried out. The response motion and mooring force of the hull are calculated. The influence of environmental load on the mooring system is explored. This paper is carried out based on numerical simulation software AQWA to provide comparative data for subsequent model tests and research references for subsequent engineering construction.
