Parameter Estimation Method for Random Ocean Waves with Mixed Spectrum Model

To overcome the deficiencies of the continuous spectrum model in the description of the physical meaning of the wave spectrum, we propose an innovative method to model random ocean waves based on the mixed spectral theory. In this paper, the ARIMA model is proposed to fit the continuous terms in the mixed spectrum, and the feasibility of the mixed spectrum model is verified with simulation data. Finally, this paper obtains the mixed spectrum expression of random ocean waves model, which provides a useful tool for interpreting the physical meaning of the composition of the wave spectrum.
