Numerical Simulation of Sand Concentration and Pressure Distribution in Sand Experimental Box

The establishment of the sand experimental box is of great importance for the study of laser anti-sand interference. Based on the discrete phase model, the numerical simulation of the sand experimental box is carried out by FLUENT software according to the Euler-Lagrange equation. And the distribution of sand concentration, the trend of concentration with time and the distribution of pressure in different sections of the calculation domain is obtained. The results show that the uniform concentration of the sand surface is influenced by the wind velocity of the wind inlet and the mass flow rate of the sand inlet. The uniform concentration increases linearly with the wind velocity, and decay exponentially with the mass flow rate. Moreover, the wall of the box has a low compressive strength which satisfies the material strength characteristics.
