Design of Narrow Pass-band All-dielectric Metamaterial Frequency Selective Surface

In this paper, a narrow high-efficiency pass-band all-dielectric metamaterial frequency selective surface (FSS) using ceramics material is designed. The pass band working in 8.92GHz-9.16GHz. The effective permittivity, effective permeability, and the normalized impedance are extracted and the electric fields and magnetic fields are observed to analysis the FSS. The result shows that the all-dielectric metamaterial FSS can be designed by adjusting its resonance modes and impedance match. This kind FSS can realize the properties the metallic FSS have and can also behavior the advantages of the all-dielectric materials, such as high temperature and high power. It has huge academic value and potential engineering application.
