Vibration Control of Electronic Means Technical Condition Based on Analysis of Resonant Frequencies

Evaluation of the technical condition is an integral part of electronic means life cycle and, as a rule, is carried out using specialized means of control. If monitoring methods of both digital and analog electronic devices are widely developed, the search for design faults is possible only by conducting a visual inspection or vibration tests.The article proposes a method for analyzing the vibration characteristics of devices, taking into account possible deviations of structural elements parameters.For the selected object of study on the basis of the Monte Carlo method, intervals of resonant frequencies changes corresponding to the good technical condition are formed. The deviation of resonant frequencies number of a defective electronic device is demonstrated, confirming the possibility of using this approach in monitoring or diagnosing.The simulation results (amplitude-frequency characteristics, a set of resonant frequencies) given in the article were obtained using the Solid Works software.
