Development of Ultra-Fast Laser Controller Based on Network Integration

With manufacturing industry upgrading rapidly, special machining technologies, such as ultra-short pulse laser machining, have been widely used in automobiles, microelectronics, aerospace and other high-tech industries for its many advantages. The laser CNC machine tool that is a complex system integrating optics, mechanics, electricity and detection, which leads to different protocols between functional modules in the system. How to satisfy the interconnection among modules in the system becomes the key to system development. Combining with the requirement analysis of the system, a hierarchical networked model of control system has been put forward based on the technology of software and hardware platform for multi-bus protocol and analyzed the integration of modules among different field buses, also analyzed the collaborative control mechanism among the modules of the system. Finally, the serial port has been taken as an example to introduce the communication implementation of ultrafast laser controller, and the feasibility of the design scheme is verified by actual machining.
