An Universal Impedance Boundary Condition Approach to Analyze Electrically Large Partially-Coated Targets

An universal impedance boundary condition method has been proposed for partially-coated targets in this paper, which is simply called P-IBC. This method can not only analyze the electromagnetic scattering properties of the fully-coated targets, but also analyze the partially-coated targets with high efficiency. The numerical results show that it can be used as an efficient tool to calculate partially-coated targets. Moreover, a certain RCS reduction effect can be obtained for the missile model.
