Radius Reduction Effect in Effective Medium Theory

A radius reduction effect is presented which is stems from the calculation of the effective medium parameters of dipole cloud using moments of method (MoM), effective medium theory (EMT) and differential evolution algorithm(DEA). The dipole cloud is made up of a good deal of dipoles, generated randomly and shaped as a ball. Simulations show that the radius of equivalent dielectric object is smaller than the real dipole cloud.
