sheets was investigated. The strong <;110> fiber texture along the rolling direction, which originated from the cold-rolling process was retained in the annealed (Co
₇₀
Fe
₃₀
)
_99.8
(NbC)
_0.2
sheets with the annealing temperature ranging from 500 °C to 700 °C. When the annealing temperature increased to 800 °C, the proportion of <;100>fiber texture markedly increased, and the magnetostriction increased from 93 to 135 ppm. As the annealing temperature reached higher than 900 °C, a proportion of <;100> fiber texture gradually reduced due to the secondary recrystallization. As a result, the magnetostriction of (Co

)

sheets decreased.
