Characterization and Optimization of an Inductive DC-DC Converter for Ultra-Low Power Energy Harvesting

The development of new circuits capable to collect and store energy from renewable sources is a hot topic for researchers. In this paper a power management unit, which can be applied to an energy collection system based on photovoltaic cells, is implemented, in a low cost 130nm CMOS technology, for ultra-low power IoT nodes applications.
