Analysis of Conical Antenna with Continuous Resistor Loaded

A new two-dimensional FDTD method for computing the radiation near fields of conical antenna with continuous resistor at each layer along z-axis, is given in this paper. And the resistors' value at the layer is varied as an exponential function and a linear function respectively. The EMP's effect of that different type of resistor load is numerical studied and analyzed. The results show that both of the two resistor load manner can reduce the reflection from the antenna's end, and we can choose appropriate load type according to the reality.
