Video Transmission Control for Networked Vision System Based on RTCP

The video quality in networked vision system is easily affected by the network congestion in the real-time video transmission process. When the machine vision network is congested, the video sending strategy must be adjusted to deal with changes in the network environment. To solve this problem, a rate control strategy based on RTCP control message is proposed. Experimental results show that this strategy can effectively reduce the packet loss rate of data during video transmission, adapt to network carrying capacity, and improve the transmission quality of real-time vision information.
