A Pid-Controlled Hvc With High Dynamic Stability For Underwater Observation Network

A stable High Voltage Converter (HVC) is crucial to the normal work of underwater observation networks. Dynamic stability should be taken into consideration when designing HVC. In this paper, a highly dynamically stable HVC used in underwater observation network is proposed. The relay feedback method is used to adjust the PI parameter of the error amplifier, which reduces the output overshoot voltage and steady-state fluctuation amplitude of the system. In order to analyze the transient response of the system under dynamic conditions such as startup and load change, a simulation model of the converter is established. The simulation and experimental results show that the designed converter meets the output voltage requirement of 375V±4V, and shows good dynamic characteristics during startup and load changing.
