Optimization Scheduling for Flexible Manufacturing System using Petri net

This paper presents a new optimization scheduling method for manufacturing system based on the Timed Petri Net model and combined a heuristic search method. A Petri net model for flexible manufacturing system is proposed. FMS Optimization scheduling is determined by searching on Petri net`s reachability graph. A heuristic search algorithm is proposed to reach fast optimization results. Some experiments are carried out to demonstrate usefulness of our algorithm.
