Multilayer Heat Conduction Model in High Temperature Environment

With the development of social industry and technology, energy field is developing rapidly. At the same time, we cannot ignore the safety and comfort of the protective clothing for staff who is inevitably working in high temperature environment. In order to design distinctive clothing, we need to study human thermal response under high temperature environment. Because of the particularity of the research environment, we place the thermal manikin whose internal temperature is controlled at 37 °C in the high-temperature environment of the laboratory to measure the temperature outside its skin. This paper establishes a heat conduction model of a five-layer heat insulation structure to determine the temperature change of the outer part of the thermal manikin skin. Then we compare the model calculation results with experimental test data to test its validity. This numerical model can be used as an initial calculation tool to carry out the thermal manikin experiment in high temperature environment, so as to realize the rapid prediction of temperature change and clothing performance.
