Severity Analysis of Voltage Sag Considering Multi-Factor Attributes

With the intensive use of sensitive equipment, voltage sags have gradually become one of the most important power quality problems. Analysis of multi-factor attributes after voltage sags occurs can not only guide the planning, equipment selection, operation and maintenance of power supply engineering, but also can provide a theoretical basis for effectively assessing the risks and severity of users' encounter with power quality incidents, and combing the existing problems of technology and management level. In this paper, the “contribution” ranking method is proposed for multi-factor attributes that affect voltage sags. First, the multi-factor attributes of voltage sags are enumerated and divided into intrinsic and exogenous attributes. Then, the analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the weight of multi-factor causal attributes. Finally, in combination with the actual engineering data, the voltage sag under multifactor causal attributes is analyzed using the equipment compatibility index as the standard, and the sag severity of the equipment under multi-factor attributes is analyzed to achieve the sort of multi-factor attribute severity. The feasibility of this method is verified by Matlab simulation.
