Experiment Investigation on Wireless Power Transfer Using Superconducting Metamaterials

As a potential magnetic element of RF metamaterials, an ultra-compact spiral superconducting YBa
₂
Cu
₃
O
_7-δ
(YBCO) metamaterials were designed and constructed. And the Sparameter of superconducting metamaterials was simulated. Besides, a wireless power transfer(WPT) system using superconducting metamaterials as receiver coil was fabricated and the output voltage characteristics as a function of transfer distance and the frequency was investigated.
