A Compact Broadband Power Divider Network for Ka SAR Application

In order to meet the requirements of dual-satellite SAR for the amplitude and phase of the power network, a compact six-way waveguide power division network was presented in this paper. The network used broadband H-T junction waveguide directional coupler and H-face waveguide ladder impedance transformation structure to achieve power distribution. It was simulated and optimized by using electromagnetic simulation software HFSS. The results show that in the range frequency, the VSWR is less than 1.2, the amplitude fluctuation is less than ±0.1SdB and phase consistency is less than ±6° at each output port. Good amplitude consistency and phase consistency are observed in the band. The power division network was finally processed and measured. Within theallowable range of error, the test results almost fitwith the simulated results.
