Influence of the single-phase fault place on the neutral treatment system parameters in MV networks

The paper aims to presents an analysis of the single-phase fault place on the neutral treatment system parameters in a 110kV / MV power distribution substation belongs to Energy Distribution Oltenia. The simulations were done for neutral system treated by a suppression coil connected straight to the internal services power transformer and the situations / variations of the parameters in both transient and stabilized conditions were studied in depth for 2 cases, namely: first when the single-phase fault was placed on the station bar and the second when the defect occurred at the end of a line fed from the power substation.
