Band Vocoder Modification Based on Khurgin-Yakovlev Representation and Fienup Algorithm

A band vocoder modification based on Khurgin- Yakovlev representation and the use of Fienup algorithm is considered. It is shown that the application of these algorithms makes it possible to improve the quality of reconstructed speech signal at the output of a strip vocoder by 1 point in accordance with GOST R 50840-95, ensuring the quality at the level of 4 ... 4.2 points at transmission speed of 4.8 kbit / s.
