Position Sensorless Control of Switched Reluctance Motor using Estimated PWM Phase Voltage

This paper verifies a position sensorles control using the estimated pwm phase voltage. pwm phase voltage estimator estimates pwm phase voltage from the voltage drop of DC link voltage, switching device and diode. In the position sensorless control, the position estimation table based on magnetization curves is used. This study omits phase voltage sensors and offers the low cost position sensorless control system.
