A Robust and Flexible DC-linked 3-Phase Energy Management System with Adaptive Droop Control Strategy

In this paper, we are going to introduce our consideration and strategy of DC bus voltage adaptive droop control, which has been used and verified successfully in our prototype of 3-phase scalable Energy Management System (EMS). Voltage droop profile for charging/discharging energy storage is controlled by a higher level manager in real-time. The proposed strategy can be easily extend to larger systems where more units are connected to DC bus.
