A Broadband Dual-Polarized Antenna with L- shaped Slots

In this letter, a triple-modes broadband base-station antenna with L-shaped stepped slots is presented. The antenna is composed of a pair of diamond dipoles etching a L-shape slot. A T-shaped coupling feeding line is introduced to further enhance impedance bandwidth. The proposed antenna achieves an impedance bandwidth of 52.3% for RL >15 dB at both ports with very stable radiation pattern, gain greater than 8.16dBi and the isolation better than 30dB between two input ports over the operating frequency band.
