Inhomogeneously Polarized Robust Laser Beam for Propagation in Random Media

A laser beam whose intensity profile remains robust against time varying phase fluctuations is engineered using polarization and angular momentum diversity. This inhomogeneously polarized beam maintains a high Signal-to-noise Ratio (SNR) at the detector without any need of active correction methods.
